It's just bits and pieces really, nothing too big, but I mostly focused on changing some characters and the setting a bit.
Like Ruby being closer to how she comes across in her trailer. Instead of being all "cute" and idealistic, she'd act more arrogant, overconfident and I guess "edgy", because really someone who has her family issues and looked up/trained under Qrow wouldn't end up being the sweet girl that she is now. But of course, she'd mellow out as time goes on (and gets her ass kicked once she starts to realize she ain't shit) and would start to trust on others (mainly her sister) and work properly as a team.
For Yang, drop the "party girl"/ jokester angle. Having her first mom walk out of her life and her second one die, all while having to deal with her little sister and seemingly distant dad would force any girl to grow up fast. She still has the desire to know more about why her mom abandoned her, but at the same time she has to look after Ruby and assume both the big sister and mom role in her life, which brings in their conflict.
I haven't done any "work" on Weiss because outside just making her act lie she did in the White trailer, I don't have much to do.
On Blake, in this AU she's an undercover White Fang member set to gather more recruits while in Beacon. She doesn't hide that she's a faunus, and does act against discrimination she sees while on campus (and yes, this definitely comes from me calling bullshit on her condemning what Cardin did to Velvet while not actually doing anything about it) even if it gets her on trouble. She may be wary about using extreme shows of violence, she does believe that force has to be used to an extent to get the respect that she and her kind deserve. She and Sun would be foils to each other, but I'll get to that in a bit.
