Perhaps as a series, the impact isn't as huge as say the DCAU overall, but MANY individual aspects of it are definitely highlights for numerous people, outside geek/nerd sites (and even there, go to i09 and you can find someone posting a gif, webm, jpg or making a reference almost daily, and in the related (non-tech, non-'nerd' sister sites), or anyplace else like it.
