The thing that kills me about graphiteknight is his rather arduous attempts at making his characters come across as people instead of just inflated sex dolls. They're there to fill a certain fetish, to be visually pleasing, trying to flesh them out into actual people after the fact in a manner such as this is ridiculous. Each of his OCs seems to fill out a certain niche whether it be through personality (quiet, reserved, awkward, ditsy, air-headed, etc.) or kink (BE, TF, multiboob, etc.) and the issue is he made the characters fill the fetishes before he made the characters themselves.
His artstyle is great, don't get me wrong, and I love his expressions, but the balloon proportions and the weird self-insert just make it all slightly off-putting and I can't find myself getting invested into anything he does after the fap. I saw the comic where he did the military twink looking TF character or whatever and the one where Mattie and Matt were kids saying they wanted to be animals growing up and it wasn't even laugh out loud bad, it was just irritating by what it could've been had he taken a different approach in his writing or plot development. Personally, I'm not too into the BE thing, but I know it's what he likes and what he's known for, and he does have a wide cast of characters to work with, but they're just there it seems to be walking fuck-objects. Bailey has humongous hips, past the point of "thicc, child-bearing hips," or even the standard hourglass or pear shape and is now one of those vases with the bottoms that just rock back and forth if you push it too hard.
The attempt at drama and yearning for love in his recent comics are only putting a bad taste in my mouth as I feel he's redirecting his attention to making us sympathetic towards sex objects. It can't work that way as I can only identify these characters with breasts or asses larger than their head as things; the wild proportions exclude them from being labeled as anything but.
