I think that may have detracted from how good the lighting really is. Plus, when there's not much background action, 3D feels a bit overly dramatic.
I walked away from this movie invigorated but also largely unsatisfied. I think its biggest flaw was that the villains never got significant time to to get fleshed out. They didn't have to be very deep character, but I barely knew what their real goals were. I think this movie needed some kinda of flashback to establish the incidents of years past, and some kind of event earlier in the movie to establish the mechanics of what the fuck the villain had earned into and how. The heroes aren't particularly original but they are believable protrayals of existing archetypes. The
sisters and the grandfather I just didn't get, and I didn't find their status as villains really anything worth defeating.
The other problem I have as that there a lot of climactic moments but a slight deficiency of moments just to be a whimiscal animated film for a while.
Sorry is this is full retard but if you could tell me why I should like this movie and everything about the villain that'd be great
