>>85538215I think they eventually got removed, but I'm pretty sure it was by Joyce, with some help from someone else?
>>85538219>I'm surprised he brought up the bechdel test at all considering how fucking stupid that thing is.He had an entire chapter called The Bechdel Test. Good luck convincing him that it's no good.
This was drawn recently enough that he should know that the name of the test was amended to the Bechdel-Wallace Test, as requested by Bechdel herself.
The test points out female representation but is by no means a measure of feminism. If Dorothy doesn't feel like her life is passing the test, then she should, you know, make more female friends.
>>85538284>She seems more like someone who says things bluntly WITHOUT thinking it might be a burn on somebody else.Yeah, she's being actively rude here. But she's been actively rude toward Joyce before, so it's not unheard of. But it is weird.
>>85538291That's a 4-hour drive. So if she were showing up, it'll be, uh, December, maybe?
>>85539368Walky, Joe, Mike, Ethan, and Danny have all had varying degrees of conversation about themselves, nachos, shoes, and a bunch of other stuff. It's not super-often, but it's definitely there.
One of the chapters was about Walky needing an extra pair of shoes because he's an idiot and thinks guys can only have one pair of shoes. He and Dorothy went and talked to guy so he could get more shoes, but he was an active participant talking to a named male about something other than women.
>>85540534>neither of them have been identified as gay or bi.Billie is easily identified as bi, and the TIME of the identification of such shouldn't affect whether the strip passes or not.
Billie is established as being really into guys at various points, but she also had some serious relationships with females in high school and obviously ended up with Ruth. Billie's discussion of guys prior to getting with Ruth is why no one thought she'd be bi.
