>>84582047Lets have a hypothetical representation here. Lets say the Joker, each time he escapes from Arkham kills on average at least 3 people. Lets also say he escapes from Arkham at least once every two years. On average, most people span careers over 30 to 50 years, averaging to a 40 year career for the Joker. So hypothetically, the Joker would kill at least 60 people in his career, not counting events of mass murder of > 3 people or a career continuing beyond 40 years. So while Batman's statement is somewhat true, it's also misleading since if he HAD killed the Joker after his first escape, hypothetically Batman could've saved at least 54 people.
This is all speculation, but I think my point rings true.
