Lot of stuff actually.
-Everything is ported over to Maya at this point.
-Animation team is expanding big time, planning to move the entire animation department to a separate office from the main facility because they're running out of room.
-First 5 eps of volume 4 are scripted and storyboarded.
-Episode 1 audio almost completely done.
-Timeskip for beginning of volume 4 is about 6-8 months.
-Trailer took the team about 2 weeks of 14 hour days to complete. "rough" cut was shown at RTX will be released in the next couple of months with full effects.
-We will get aquatic based grimm, new grimm were shown off in the trailer (gorilla grimm who throws beowulves as attacks.)
-New rendering engine looks amazing, shadows, lighting, fabric, hair effects are all majorly improved.
-Rendering for the trailer fried cabling for several of their computers.
-Fanservice podcast is coming back per Matt Hullum and Gray
-Kerry's been wanting to switch to maya for the lighting/shadow/shader effects since volume 1, it's been pissing him off since Poser couldn't handle what they wanted to do.
-Shane's letter wasn't mentioned at all except during the music of RWBY podcast where Jeff Williams only said "some nasty words have been said about Monty's legacy" but he's confident that the RT crew is handling things well.
-New RWBY merch is coming, they seemed to hint we're getting new plushies as they said the current design is a "pain to manufacture and distribute".
That's all I can remember right now.
