Meanwhile, the Smallville fight was a better catharsis because people had been wanting to see a big superhero brawl in a Superman movie for quite some time and it also depicted some superpowers like super speed in a manner that was accurate to the comic books, which NO ONE saw coming. There was also proper buildup and when the fight actually started, there were no real pauses there. It was also about four minutes long or so, meaning a fight scene in the middle of MoS lasting longer than this one did. And then the Zod fight in the same movie was altogether like 5-7 minutes long.
What the fuck happened here? Did their budget run out or something?
