But here you have an extremely vocal group of people who piss and moan about the tiniest things, but do so in the name ~equality. Who wants to be labeled racist/sexist/homophobic/etc? They whine and say if X is changed, more people will read the comics. That comics, as they stood previously, were too intimidating and oppressive and willfully kept a large population of the otherwise-would-be-interested population oh if only X was different.
So they change X. But it's not good enough. There isn't enough Y, they say. Alright no problem, here's more Y. But wait, that's not important because why the FUCK do you people still allow Z to happen?
And on and on and on. They've got dollar signs in their eyes and are trying to appeal to an eternally-unpleasable minority section of their consumers and in the process, are destroying their own reputation and the trust/respect of generations of built-in fans who loved comic books just the way they were. All for people who don't give a shit.
