So, I just watched the first episode of DC Superhero Girls: Superhero High

>Why is Amanda Waller not fat?
>Why are Ivy and Harley Heroes?
>Why is Gorrilla Grodd a teacher?
>Why is Beastboy the token male?
>What is all this shit about "Believe in your super self?"
>Why is Wonder Woman now essentially Captain america?
>Why is the scene editting so shit?
>Why is the Alarm the "Someone's attacking the Enterprise!" sound?
>Why does Wonder Womans shield shoot laser beams?
>Why is Supergirl such a self-conscious cunt?
>Why does Supergirl have Black Canary's Sonic Shout?
>Why are Parademons so damn adorable?
>Why do Apokaliptians use Mother Boxes?
>Why does strapping said Motherbox to a big crystal make everyone evil?
>Why all the homoerotic tension between Harley and Supergirl?
>Why can Starfire make energy shields?
>Why is Parasite being the typical "put upon janitor"

Honestly, I can't tell if this is supposed to be DC's answer to MLP, Winx Club or those shitty Tinkerbell movies that Disney keeps pumping out.

Now, I am all for the Superheroines of the DC universe getting a series all to themselves, in fact, that's something I have wanted for ages, but this seems like just seems like a typical Highschool set, superpowered show that just so happens to be DC based?

This opening episode was dry, forgettable, but ultimately harmless. Does it get better, worse or much of the same from here on in?
