RT aggregates professional reviewers, not YouTubers or nostalgia critic knockoffs. If I'm going to get a general idea of what the critical response is to a film, there's no reason why I shouldn't consider RT the best measure of that.

Generally a movie with 90 or above can use it in their marketing (actually I think certified fresh is 80 and above?)

Higher RT scores means that more people who were on the fence about seeing it might go see it. Although if CW is any good, word of mouth might be more useful for it.

Why is it important that a movie get a 100% on RT? The only people who would care are absolute autisimo overdrive. The people posting a negative review and bringing down an otherwise perfect score aren't the problem. The ones so buttfrustrated by it that they leave 500 comments on the review complaining about it are the reason some critics do it for attention, and otherwise, it'd be people with a genuinely negative opinion expressing it, which is, although you'll deny it, also unacceptable to the autisticos. Literally the only people who care are faggots.

a 100% isn't a perfect movie, it's just a good/enjoyable one, or rather it "pass" inspection
It's why most don't take much notice till it constantly fails to pass on RT because the means most critics have more bad things then good for a film.

A 100% wouldn't mean "the movie is perfect", just that all the critics listed gave a positive review. If the score isn't 100% is because someone said "not only this movie isn't perfect, it's bad!"
It's silly to expect all of those movies to get a 100%, and honestly who gives a fuck, but what the anons are talking about is, what was so bad about (for example) Zootopia that made it deserve that one negative review that ruined the score?
