>>81844681I'm mad because it's an incomplete product.
It's like if you took PotC Deadman's Chest... Davey Jones is mad, the british navy is everywhere, and they decide to release Calypso.
They take the pieces of 8, set her free, and in doing so, she goes belfries and starts a hurricane.
The battle begins, pirates start fighting the british navy amidst the storm and Will and Elizabeth insist on getting married with Barbosa as officiator.
Right after they kiss we get a cutaway of Jack, not Will, mind you, Jack, stabbing Davey Jones's heart. Davey dies, Jack now has the immortality and sea's best ship he's always wanted, no finalization of his character arc where he finally acts unselfishly for the first time in 3 movies, and certainly no karmic backlash.
And last, almost no later than the knife was plunged, we have Will and Elizabeth going at it on the beach. The End, fade to black.
Storm gone. No mention of Calypso or the British Navy. Not even what happens with Jack. Just happy times between the lovebirds, and then credits.
That is the end we got for Homestuck. Almost point for point even, what with unkillable big bads and McGuffins hidden in chests being used to kill them. Do you see the problem? Do you see why the missing segments are important? Segments like THE ENTIRE CLIMAX?
>>81844721would have been more rewarding an ending. Joke, Ruse, actual resolution, all would have been better than this.
