>>81811050>>81811106The point is that no one "built" the temple. It was created via their fusion.
Gems aren't JUST light, they're some kind of light that takes on properties of matter, beyond even sci-fi hardlight concepts. Lapis' water is water, their clothes are cloth that can tear, their bodies can be bruised/scratched, etc.
The idea with the Temple is that it could possibly be basically the same thing that happens in Attack on Titan (spoilers for those that don't read the manga)
where the walls were made from a fuckton of collosal titans creating a hardened surface around themselves.Only here, the Temple, either voluntarily or by a sideffect of whatever it blocked, became htis hardened stone shell we now have, while it's insides remained as a magical flux basically.
That'd explain why the Temple is so much more advanced than even the hand ship really. It's damn metaphysical in there, and a LOT like Malachite's inner world with Lapis and Jasper.
That'd also explain why it's specifically tied to those 5 Crystal Gems: it's basically a collective pool of magic from them.
It's got some holes like any other theory does, but it explains a lot more and makes WAY more sense to me than "someone/somegem sculpted it". no one sculpted that FUCKHUGE sword.
