I kind of liked to be honest. I admittedly know next to nothing about what's actually aired on radio/tv/wherever nowadays and what's hot or not.
But thinking back, it still felt like a huge improvement over Linkin Park or whatever we always got with broken youth before.
So it's an improvement at the very least. Though perhaps that's not enough to make it good, but I honestly don't care enough about music to condemn it. In my mind it felt like an improvement and from that perspective I kind of liked it.
The DDR dance bit was legitimately good though. The competitive yet physical aspect is perfect to entice youth like this, yet the party music is in stark contrast to their personalities, or Damien's at the very least. It meshes together very well and the contrast just makes it perfect.
But perhaps I am too old to have any idea of what I am talking about anymore. But when I was their age, shit was worse.
