>>81170404>>81170504In my opinion, I think it could work. Introduce Bart and say that Bar Torr just heard of Bart's exploits from his history class or whatever and decided to take on his name, so that way it is possible for the two to exist at the same time without it being /too/ convoluted. Then from there, introduce Max, and... eh, actually, now that I think of it, I don't think Max would work if Barry's still around. Like, the main reason why Max mentored Bart is because Wally was too young and didn't want to deal with taking care of Bart, but if Barry was still alive, then Barry would most certainly have taken in Bart, I mean, duh, he's his grandson. So now that I think of it, I feel like, if you want to keep Bart, well, "Bart," Barry /has/ to die. And I know that sounds really morbid, but Bart's personality was shaped by his friends in Manchester and by Max, and if Bart moved in with Barry, who lives in Central City, then... Bart no longer has those things. Hmm. I mean, I guess you could move Carol and all of Bart's friends to Central City, but still, what about Max? There'd be no reason for him to exist if Barry's there to tutor Bart instead.
Bart could work in the Nu52, but for him to keep his original personality, I'm thinking Barry would have to die first.
