>>80756909>Immediately decommissioning for most peopleNot horrible. I mean, then it's just a couple more years and you're old enough to get a job, have your own money, etc.
>Lose all the friends you've madeExcept for all the others your age who got decommissioned with you.
>Lose all actual meaning to your lifeInstead, you gain meaning in your life by realizing the big picture (global crises, politics, socializing, working, raising a family, having sex, all while still being able to do things like play video games, sports, etc.) and gaining all the respect and freedom that a teen/adult has. At that point, you would realize how petty and narrow-minded all your "goals" were when you were with the KND.
>Possibly end up having to fight your old friendsWhile the KND perceive this battle against adults as a serious ongoing conflict, you now recognize "agents" when you see them, and chuckle to yourself about those silly kids having fun pretending that they're actually working towards something. They'd usually just be a minor inconvenience, at worst a steady annoyance (provided you portray yourself as a more antagonistic character).
The system serves its purpose. Keeps the kids out of trouble.
