Eh. Honestly, I'm not sure where you can take Laurel's character now. There's no romantic angle with Oliver anymore, there's no more revenge angle to pursue now that Sara's back, she's been built up into the Black Canary. She's already changed jobs once, and there's not a ton of background to move her into being a singer or florist like in the comics. Killing and resurrecting her would be tired at this point, thanks to Sara/Thea/Oliver. Her familial ties are pretty steady, her work life is unremarkable. She's a well-rounded, balanced individual whose life is in order - not exactly helpful for generating drama.
Killing her off, on the other hand, is easily worth a season of grief and drama, and would open the way for Caity Lotz to return as Black Canary, who could try to rebuild her life outside the mask, rebuild a relationship with her dad... if I were a writer for Arrow, I'd be at least considering it.
