>>80393705You aren't listening dude. Take your pc ear plugs out and try again.
I am the audience and I am black. I am telling you that anyone who actually reads comics and see's this bullshit pandering applied them will feel nothing but disgust. There is no way in hell pandering gives any kind of validation. All those black folks you see on the news in the ghetto saying 'it ain't right' and 'we need help' are seriously just begging for free shit.
This crap is nothing more than marvel going 'hey look, we're so progressive'. It is not validating in ANYWAY WHAT SO EVER. Any person who happens to be black would find this insulting at the least.
You're reasoning that someone, somewhere might be ok with that, is not fucking reason to apply that reasoning to everyone else.
>But pandering doesn't have to be badMotherfucker, I am black. If you seriously think that anyone would WANT to be pandered to and still think said pandering has any value of helping others, than you have no idea what the concept of selfless is. When you pander in something like a superhero comic you literally put their skin color/vagina before who they are as a person and what they are actually doing to be considered a 'hero'
Seriously man, how can you staple such a concept as 'pandering to the pc crowd' on superheroes and still claim it is somehow 'good'?
This is not helping anything. It is pc. That's it. It has no way of helping others feel better about themselves others than seeing a 'black' man/woman beat up(verbally or physically) a 'white' man. Is that seriously what you want to see in superhero comics? Is that really what you want kids to see, and think of when they imagine spider man?????
I honestly can't image a worst fate for a fictional super hero. To become everything which they've stood against, merely because of politics.
I'm sorry sir, but you are wrong. Pandering is not, nor will not make things better for the comic itself or the audience reading it. It will do the opposite.
