>>80414793>>80414962The 3D was somewhere in-between uncanny valley and the type that ages badly. Not only was realistic human animation not quite there, but it also wasn't a good idea to use it. The only movie I know that got away with it without going into uncanny valley is that Final Fantasy movie about the earth being alive and attacked by space ghosts.
Another problem is the story. Good for a Goosebumps short, but not exactly fitting or strong enough for a whole movie.
This is something that you can show to kids on a Halloween once and expect them to be reasonably entertained, but it won't become a tradition.
