Anyway, you can't honestly expect a Super Smash Bros crossover event with Sonic and Mega Man's comic to not be a giant clusterfuck. And Worlds Unite had bigger problems than just some fag's OC and the Deadly Six being shoe horned in for no raisin.
The real problem was obvious: big fat crossovers with a hundred different characters are boring. The best crossovers are the ones where you actually get to focus on a few characters meeting up and having some kind of dumb adventure together. You get a nice savory stew instead of a big pot of watered down goop. Worlds Collide, as fan faggoty as it was, at least had a coherent story and you actually gave a shit about these two characters meeting on some level.
