>>80081196>>80081311Yeah, but that doesn't detract from how mean her actions were. Heck, the way she gets her shit kicked in is more than what you'd expect from a kids cartoon. She all but died. You have a mother literally leaving her kid in the desert, a big song and dance about how worthless your life is, Gumball impaling a living milk carton and shoving someone claustrophobic inside an envelope. I don't see this kind of shit in other cartoons at all. I personally enjoy it though, but I do get if it's not for everyone.
I kind of see it like Tom and Jerry was back when, just far more dialogue focused. Short episodes where the primary goal is just humour, with no real rules. There are some misses with Gumball, but it hits far too often for me dwell on them.
