Frankly though, I personally liked the early Image Comics issues. Savage Dragon killed, Youngblood, Supreme, etc. (even Shadowhawk broke backs to ensure they don't come back). Recurring villains was a rarity; loved seeing new ones (even just to see how long they'd last).
