Over the top, blonde haired magical girl teamed with a cute, awkward cross dressing guy. It's like it was made for the japs.>>79813520
I do agree that given her limited screen time, and her more prominent of that limited screen time being centred on Marco it's understandable that a lot of her character rotates around him. However>when working with any secondary character, has to work from scratch to make their own interpretation
I would say that with that thought in mind it's not necessary to fall into that pit trap, that being said some focus on their relationship is certainly necessary. I'd just say that it doesn't have to make up the majority of her features, I'd rather see her be outlined as a character then have her do the whole interaction thing in whatever way works. Primarily I just think there's been some great stand alone Jackie's yours included
who didn't have to be built around the interaction with Marco, it was secondary but helped if you get me? I think much the same could be applied to Janna, especially considering she's likely to be fleshed out in season 2.
As for your Harem point, that's very true. I think you'll be hard pressed to make the relationship side of it believable just due to the nature of the thing. But if you make the characters and their interactions work out, then I'm sure it will work out.>her airhead tendencies are what makes Marco realize he's put Jackie on a pedestal. After he actually gets to know her however, he genially will fall in love with her
Man, you just know how to make me smile, Harem. That sounds so damn cute, I can't wait. I love the idea of discovering love in the face of un-met expectations, brings me back to good old ToraDora. One additional little thing I wanted to ask: is your humanised ponyhead a part of your harem verse, given how Ferg says "he already had the hotest girls in school jumping on his bone!"
