Yeah, I remember talking about that a while ago in these threads. There were a lot of interesting ideas like that, almost entirely hearsay given that we couldn't prove any of it with the information given. However, it's hard to tell if Toffee can't fight a magic user like Star due to a weakness like that, or if it's a voluntary choice to not get his hands dirty.
It becomes a further problem if you factor in the ideas of him being linked to the monster massacre in ages past given that it could mean that due to his age he's just so focused on working things behind the scenes that he wasn't expecting such a bold move from Star.
I kind of like that idea the most, given that character flaws are interesting to develop and see their implications on the events happening around them. Perhaps Toffee expected a more peaceful approach from Star into his Ludo's
lair and he got a bit more than he bargained for; yet his trump card meant he was always in control. Now imagine a situation where he doesn't have a trump card like that, how would he react to that predicament, especially if it was due to his own shortcomings in underestimating Star or Marco.>>79432380
Hey, these threads have been glued together with thinking like that. I like to think anons here have gotten rather skilled at implanting appropriate characteristics on secondary/background characters. I mean, your logic is as solid as it was for Hope, though given her couple of lines there's the tiniest bit more to work with, but not much by any means. It's just a shame so many of the constructed personalities the threads have developed may be completely debunked in the end, Janna the most at risk in that regard and Hope. Sabrina seems right on the mark at least.
