The ANAD Avengers formed because all 7 of them happened to converge on one villain, and decided to go "well let's be the Avengers!" Peter was already contracted for Steve's Unity Squad. The original 616 (616-7) got blown up. Franklin, Reed, and Owen made a perfect recreation of 616 (616-8) so the timeline is exactly the same with a couple minor exeptions and the built in excuse of "any continutiy mistakes are Reed and Franklin's fault."
