Why was this cartoon such a terrible adaptation? It didn't really fit in with the book or the movie - or even the live-action movie that was released around the same time. I know there's not much you can do with 101 Dalmatians, but the show was only about three dalmatians and a chicken. And Cruella was downgraded to an annoying neighbor who wanted to seize property.
