There was a guy who walked in a few weeks ago asking me if I had a certain kind of fish that he could use as live bait. My first thought was "FUCKING JACKPOT."
One of my coworkers told me that before I took over that department, there was an Asian guy who would come in and buy fish so he could cook them and eat them for dinner. I said that if he paid for them, I would give him the tartar sauce myself.
There are times when I've had to be careful not to crush them between my fingers when they get out of the net and I have to put them back in the tank. But I wish I could crush them. Because I hate them. I hate them so goddamn much.
