Him having the bow is pretty dumb when he also has a blaster hand and guns and shit. It's not like Frank is Hawkeye level of trickshots anyway so I don't see him using a bow very effectively, comparatively.

I personally don't care for "serious", but consistency in the internal logic of a comic is important. When has Frank ever used a bow and arrow? He's a war soldier, not a super genius, so how would he even know how to properly utilize pym particles or ANY of Stark's tech? It's shitty writing, which granted, is commonplace in Punisher comics, but still.

Remender's Punisher. The first half of the run is Frank trying to assassinate Norman Osborne (while he was president) and doing ridiculous shit like OP's pic. In the second half he turns into Franken-Castle and it gets even sillier.

There needs to be a What If or non canon one shot consisting of Frank sniping down some of the weaker villains and taking their stuff. Only to start working his way up to the stronger ones with the gear he got and is much more capable of using since he is a trained soldier and not some science genius bank robber.

>Put one between Vulture's eyes and get a flight harness.
>Peg Dr Octopus and get the latest gadget of the week
>Snipe Kingsley in his bed while asleep and get goblin formula and some nifty gear
>Shoot Firebrand in the unarmored face, get some power armor
>start working up to better villains

To be specific. He was using all of the stuff that was either stolen from super villains copying heroes or the heroes after their defeats.

Used all the stuff to take to resurrected villains. An army of them that the hood had created.

It culminated in him firebombing his own family after they were brought back from the dead. Just to make a point to the hood not to fuck with him anymore.

It is the most metal thing i ever read.

You doubt a guy who's had more weapons training than most of the people that shit belonged to can shoot arrows, use a shield, tell a helmet to make him small, or aim his hand and shoot lasers?

Frank has been de-aged twice, and you could easily No-Prize in a third time with that time an angel feather healed him. Hell, just say that he's had has aging slowed from one of those times. There's no reason he can't stay a Vietnam vet, just like Golden Age heroes like Alan Scott shouldn't be changed to have been born decades after WW2 ended.

We don't even need that. While Vietnam adds to the character, it could easily be changed to the Iraq War, like how Iron Man was updated to Afghanistan. It's characters like Magneto, who are explicitly tied to a specific time period, that have trouble. It's not like there's another major Jewish genocide we can update him to.
