>>79156803It was probably more justified. To be honest, I had kinda started glazing over towards the end of season 2. The last thing I remember happening was Korra getting big and glowy and defeating Randomly Omnicidal Villain Guy. When season 3 opened up with "Yeah, everyone hates her now" I just decided the show probably wasn't going to get better and gave up.
I don't know what it is about the trope that annoys me so much. Maybe with all the people irl who manage to get away with random shit, I just find it hard to believe that someone who is actively doing good can manage to get the public to hate them so... unanimously. It also feels like something a shitty writer would do to make a character seem more important, by making them the center of the universe
