Respect is not taken, it's given, and if you are disrespectful to the one ultimate reason everyone's at college (TO STUDY) then character attacks, whatever they are, are not worth anyone's justice.
When you commit violence, that becomes assault, but lacking respect for someone who hasn't earned it isn't assault. Words are not assault, they're words. And this applies to other 'minorities' as well, if someone is being a slovenly, lazy, dumb motherfucker who resorts to violence or barbituates at the drop of a hat, then nigger is the perfect term to shellshock them. It's a sign that they, as an individual, have lost the respect of their peers for their actions. It exposes the individual as thin-skinned, as childish, and it helps them understand how society can and should turn on them for inappropriate behavior. And frankly, there's a lot of people out there who need that shellshocking to cut their shit out.
If you're provoked without cause, that is a problem, but when you act and behave in a manner that has consequences, don't be shocked when you lose the respect of others. Because no one born on this Earth deserves respect from the getgo, they earn it.
