This is not a difficult concept.
He is moving his limbs. It seems quite evident that his limbs move independantly regardless of where his body is. Likewise, he sees out of his eyes. Regardless of where they are. Speaks from his mouth, smells from his nose (I assume) and so on.
So it stands to reason that since his body is immobile the only thing that determines his mobility are his limbs.
I was able to understand this quite clearly.
The concept is like attaching moving limbs and legs to any particular body.
His legs move on their own, regardless of what they are attached to. If they are attached to the tortilla, they will move the tortilla, because the legs are pretty much just dragging the tortilla around.
Or the arms.
or eyes.
This isn't hard.
