Actually, it kind of is hilarious, considering how in the face of scientific fact the rest of the movie flies, and how Jurassic World (ie the more "realistic" dinosaur film this year) failed to produce a feathered dinosaur.
Anyway, if you can't tell, I liked The Good Dinosaur. It was a charming, albeit modest film, and beautifully rendered. It reminded me of watching an older movie in terms of its slower, more contemplative pacing. It's a nice change from the "throwing everything at the wall ridiculously fast" mantra that stuff like The Lego Movie and even, to an extent, Inside Out lean on (not that I don't like those movies, but I don't want every movie to be like them).
