>>77609333>1) Has anybody said how many episodes are going to be in this season? They're slated for 10 episodes.
> 2) What would be considered "good ratings" for this show?Don't know. TV ratings are weird unreliable, but they're really the only gold standard they got. A show may not do so great according to the Nielsen ratings, but if they generate enough positive buzz from reviews and internet video clip view counts, an organization like Viacom/CC may consider a renewing the show. Vice versa, if a show gets panned as crap, but draws in millions, then it's a no-brainer.
Another thing to consider is the cost of production. MBC uses computer-based animation which is generally pretty cheap, but the VA talent are also on-screen actors which usually cost a bit more and are harder to schedule with and I imagine eats up a lot of the budget. If CC thinks that they can get better results with another program, they'd probably be quick to drop it. And since MBC immediately leads CC's flagship show, The Daily Show which has been floundering for a while, CC may either move the show to a different time slot of cancel it entirely.
The truth is MBC reviews have been from bad to mediocre at best. You can bet that CC knows that. New shows that wait after their initial run don't have a good track record of getting picked up for a new season. CC does however have a history of running mediocre shows for a couple of seasons before dropping them. So who knows?
