>>77264503RiD15? It's honestly not half bad. Deepest lore behind both Cybertronian and Minicon subspecies, Primes are involved, bad guys are an entirely new team, Steeljaw is underdeveloped but VERY interesting, voice work goes from mildly interesting to very pleasant at times, Bumblebee's a lovable dork, Fixit's speech impediment, while annoying, is reduced to once an episode.
Human characters are surprisingly bearable. Denny is 120% dad, Russell surprisingly doesn't stick his head in trouble and is actually useful, and both are much more side character than previous humans, even when episodes are from his perspective.
The show also has a remarkable level of continuity. Characters remember what happened last episode, and their interactions show it. I mean, Drift screamed of one episode filler, but he stuck around.
Kary Payton makes a solid Grimlock as long as you separate him from FoC Grimlock.
Darren Chris plays the punk kid perfectly, while Constance Zimmer's know-it-all tone fits exactly and the sexual tension between them is oh so tasty.
Fuck, even Mitchell Whitfield as Fixit is the right combination of annoying and adorable.
Also, Thunderhoof is a mafia boss. How can you not love that voice?
