Could someone clarify something for me? I'm kind of confused about the chronology of Supergirl's origin. I keep reading that she was sent away when Brainiac attacked Krypton, but in Superman: Brainiac she says she was supposed to look after Clark.

How could she have been sent away after Clark if Clark was sent just before Krypton exploded, and Brainiac must have attacked before that happened?
