Well, no season is without good episodes, but the ratio tilts in the fourth season.
And nah, 1-3 Lana is pretty alright, but this begins to stretch her role as love interest and plot device.

Her subplot just went back and forth nor going anywhere, and there episodes not related to her at all but she steals the last scene because for some reason they shove her in awkwardly at the end

Well, speaking as someone who lives in a similarly rural area, it's not completely unlikely. In Montana, a three-hour drive to work is fairly common. But then again we don't have the taxes a lot of other states do.

honestly, the season premieres and finales are the only smallville episodes where anything really happens and then once in a while you'll get something noteworthy like a Geoff Johns written ep that elevates the usual crappiness.

Smallville was silly with their CW-tier teen romance drama and funny CGI, but I really loved that show and Tom Welling made a pretty good Clark.

Current Flash TV is just down right gay and stupid. It's unbearably cheesy and corny. Without Tom Cavanaugh there's nothing good in it anymore. Becomes a fucking meme show.
