Then he is to investigate in the case of a probably kidnapping to find the guy working with terrorists in a human trafficking ring funnelling illegal immigrants into Mengele-level experiments.
The hook here is that the first issue makes it look like it's about the Sons of the Serpent being vigilantes who try to keep immigrants out.
Which had fucking Fox News up in arms against the comic.
Then they had the guys actually in cahoots and so unmistakably evil, anyone with human decency would by now be publicly apologizing.
Not that it matters because they fed into Marvel's publicity scheme beyond reasonable expectations.
Anyway, they are only doing quick stabs against twitter activism and misinformation through the media.
They don't really take direct positions on anything and don't acknowledge any scandal, which will keep the comic from being dated next year.
