There's absolutely no minority tension and if I remember correctly it's so staggeringly white the first black person you see is a plot relevant character, Giant.
Every story was either "lol what if good Sci-Fi thing like automated workforce but it's actually bad" or "lol what if fascism but it's functional and non-discriminatory, also I hope people notice it's tongue-in-cheek" and occasionally they say "Hey look, it's [American place] but polluted!"
