>>128754550Well, first, I don't think this is an abomination, and it does make me happy, though unless it gets a solid 2 years, it won't satisfy me. I do think it's a compromise that wasn't as well judged as it should be.
>>128754427Well, we've made it past 400, so I think the thread will actually max out.
I think DC wasted too much time and effort ballooning its books, and should have either advertised that the book would launch in December in March, so fans weren't so tense and frustrated (though I think the book was actually locked in with the current team in around June, based on interviews), or should have just launched the darn book in March or alongside Robin.
I don't think the market can sustain as many Batbooks as we have now, let along four Wonder Woman books and four Aquaman books.
>>128754191Hawkman got 2 years, so that's why I'm hoping for that specific number. Well, also, Stephgirl lasted that long too.
Well, from a pop culture perspective, Superman and Wonder Woman are up there with Batman. From an actual sales of stories perspective, it's not even close, sadly.
Hmm. What books (other than Steph's Batgirl run) would you say have a adventurous everygirl tone these days?
The lack of using Cass and Steph in Gotham Nights is one of my biggest frustrations with that game. I'm still waiting for them to change their minds and make Tim into Damian so they can go with the perfect n52 reboot group of characters that they so desperately want to promote as "the only iconic characters".
