I love that it was made and love experimental animation things. As for the work itself:
Toccata and Fugue in D Minor - Good little conceptual piece. Not much to say other than being a good conceptual intro.
The Nutcracker - Didn't love it. Being intimately familiar with ballet, this animation piece just doesn't add anything and is probably trying to rely on audience's perception that when they hear Tchaikovsky, they should think artsy.
The Sorcerer's Apprentice - As much as I tire of seeing Mickey in that hat, this classic piece of animation is classically fantastic.
Rite of Spring - I'm not sure what exactly it is about this that isn't quite working for me, but it doesn't. Between the song not quite matching the content and Land Before Time doing a lot of the concepts better.
The Pastoral Symphony - _ ____ __ ____ ____ ahem.... So this FEELS so much more like a ballet than The Nutcracker does and is a very complete piece musically and narratively.
Dance of the Hours - I don't know, this one's kind of goofy.
Night on Bald Mountain - Great one to end on. Strong atmosphere, strong animation, matching the music perfectly.
