Good eye! that’s parlov art just like platoon and much of Ennis’ Punisher MAX series. I would say while I think platoon is the best in terms of avoiding ennis’ sometimes unnecessary/over the top edge my war gone by is in some ways ennis true pinnacle. It’s well scripted, entertaining and just titillating enough without being overly shocking for shock sense.
Unironically think if someone showed Clooney that he’d feel like an asshole for refusing to do a Fury movie because of the other ennis fury comic he’d read.
