I'm just saying she didn't choose to shoot Silco, it was her animal reaction to protecting Vi. What's interesting about this is that choice vs reaction changes the dynamic.
Let's imagine 2 similar situations.
A man sees an accident about to happen and decides to sacrifice himself to save others.
A man sees an accident happening and sacrifices himself to save others.
The situation says two different things about a person. In the first, we see a truly noble man who has to grapple with their own fear, hesitation, self preservation and decide to act in spite of it all. In the second we see someone who is at their very core good because they act on instinct.
In Jinx's case, its all sorta turned around. We see who she is at her core. She sees what matters to her the most but instead of embracing it she rejects it. She sees the accident and decides in spite of it all, that's what she prefers.
