It's not just the show that is dead, the community seems to be mostly dead as well. There hasn't been any fanfics of the series since August, and even discussion of the show on here has slowed to a snail's pace.

It's funny, Danger Mouse is the only show I know that became flavour of the month twice. First in 2015 when it aired, then in 2019 due to Ianon.

Well that's how it works. People embrace it for a while then move on. Still, it was pretty fun and occasionally kind of crazy, and I'm glad it happened. Better than /co/ sleeping on a great show and all that passion and hard work fading into obscurity without any acknowledgement.
It might feel like it is already but it's really not, just because it's not as immensely popular as something like PPG doesn't mean it's being forgotten. I don't think a nostalgiabait property like Danger Mouse can be completely forgotten at this point in time yet, needs another decade.

This show has an American character, the difference between British characters and American character doesn't make an excuse for calling this episode a "yank shit". I think it's nice to show some National tradition in a foreign show.

Yeah, I agree. I don't understand why even the slightest mention of American stuff in the show makes people seethe so violently. Didn't the old show have a few episodes set in America? Why does nobody complain about that? I'd say it's patriotic Brits getting angry but it sounds suspiciously more like self-hating Americans upset that the exotic, foreign show from across the pond is 'tainted' or 'globalized' or some delusional nonsense like that.
