>>127300875stop, you're getting pathetic. The whole series was planned from the start. Ass pulls only really happen in weekly long running series when authors have to come up with new plots in a short time.
In this case they had everything planned from the start, so it was just a case of giving her an hex sphere or having jayce bring his hammer into the council.
There's a difference between using the attack as a way to reveal mel's magic armor and being stuck into a corner and havign to come up with something the week later.
The fact that everyone is fairly certain that her armor will have magic powers and save her is proof enough that it's not an asspull. An asspull wouldn't be so predictable.
But again, the fact that you are only complaining about Mel surviving and not jayce and victor is proof enough that it's not about asspulls or storytelling, it's just about you irrationally hating mel and wanting her to die.
> very organic and satisfying payoffs don't make me laugh.
half the council dead, cait's mother dead at the hands of vi's sister, order crumbling in piltover, war between piltover and the undercity, heimerdinger and jayce's worst fears about hextech coming true, chaos exploding, noxus presence becoming even more of threat all as a consequence of jinx's attack are not payoffs to you. No, the only thing that would be satisfying to you is mel's death.
And then you say you're not obsessed.
