Sasha as a character stagnates early until reunion, Marcy however had her own line of interesting adventures that weren’t constrained to the promoter of one small tower however beyond just the adventure style she also was pretty much stagnant as ‘knows/can learn anything and can do almost anything including stop world hunger’ which would only ride as interesting in sparse encounters of grander adventures or her daily life(D&D or library/learning time) episodes. S2 Sasha had a bit more going on but from an outside look it would have basically just become monster of the week if they didn’t just go on a safe path lead by Grime.
Niether Sasha or Marcy developed all that far from the normal deletes up until encounters with Anne and even then if you want to say they(mainly Sasha) developed more than Anne but still have her choices from TC it would come off as bad writing. At most the two, mainly S2 Sasha needed an episode or montage of her journey(1st and 2nd episode half only about her) to convince me her story was more interesting that the dicking around and adventuring Anne did.
Out of all 3 Marcy’s adventures are the most interesting since they are pretty much just fantasy adventures with no need to ask morality or self questions and just her having a good time in her wonderland, Sasha has some of the better fights(not a ton but more than Anne) that work as her highlight, but Anne has actual story to keep her interesting. Defining points are Anne snagged most of the other two’s aspects in her own time.
Anne > Marcy > Sasha
