I guess what I was more accurately getting at is that Luanne seems to put a lot of effort in multiple ways into appearing conventionally attractive, and so I think her removing body hair would fall under that as well. I mean, by her regular outfit it's clear she regularly shaves anyway (compare this show sometimes depicting extreme feminists as really hairy).
