Then they made a pilot for the series that finally came out. Which ultimately got massively retooled because they hated it. Yorick had to be recast within a month because Barry Keoghan who was the original actor left. Lashana Lynch who played Agent 355 also left and got recast.

Then after all that. It was announced that it was cancelled before even half the episodes of the first season aired. This means the show runners were informed of this much earlier
