Do girls actually like seeing female protagonists in action stories?
Everyone knows that comics and other forms of media have been pushing for more female representation which is weird since the main demographic for that stuff is male.
But in tons of stuff that's actually properly aimed at the female demographic there's bascially no action at all. It focuses more on character and relationship stuff.
It just seems weird.
