Even the part of the fandom that doesn't hate her just wants to reduce her to a supporting character to Magneto, something that has never done her any good at all.
Acting like maybe the X-books might do something good with Wanda is really arguing in bad faith at this point, everyone knows they never will. Even in AU stories where they have the freedom to do whatever they want, all they ever do is just kill her.
If what was on offer was just harmless guest appearances, being written in-character, her status quo left unaltered, and not being abused or demonized, things might be different, but that never seems to happen, and fans have no reason to trust that this will ever change.
