>>125257708The point is that they're not equals. A "boring" person watches tv where the imagery is spoonfed to them. The "creative" person can read a book and see the imagery play out that looks even better than what's on tv.
It kind of makes sense if you assume the first category is made up of those people who don't "see" things in their head when reading or thinking of things, while the second category are those who do. Of course the first category would rather watch tv than read a book if they don't see the stuff unfold in their head when reading. The weird thing is that the author of the comic seems to think that's down to creativeness.
